Harici yıldırımlık sistemi - Endüstriyel yapılar

Harici yıldırımlık sistemi yapıların ve insanların yıldırımın sonucu oluşan yangın veya yaralanma gibi fiziksel etkilerden korunması için baş vurulan koruma yöntemidir. Harici yıldırımlık sistemleri bina çevresinde koruyucu bir kılıf oluşturarak insan ve yapıları yıldırıma karşı izole eder ve gelen yıldırım darbesini toprağa ileterek insan hayatını ve yapıların güvenliğini sağlar. 

IEC 62305 standardı harici yıldırımlık sistemini tarifler. Aşağıda yer alan iki farklı yöntem ile sistem kurgulanabilir;

  • İzolesiz, geleneksel yıldırımdan korunma konsepti
  • İzoleli iletken ile yıldırımdan korunma konsepti (örnek; HVI yıldırımdan koruma)

HVI Yıldırımdan korunma

HVI yıldırımdan korunma konsepti yakalama ucu, destek tüpü ve yalıtımlı iletken yapıdan meydana gelir. Yıldırım darbesi izoleli sistem ile toprağa aktarılır. Bu yapının sağlamış olduğu avantaj, izloleli yapısı sayesinde ayırma mesafesinin geleneksel yönteme oranla çok daha küçük olmasıdır.
